I'd suggest buying another CD for kids, like any from Music for Little People. Even my daughter asks me to change it whenever I put it on, and she is usually easy to please music-wise. The best of these are "I'm a Little Teapot," (for the younger crowd) and "Cajun Music for Kids, Papillion." I'm not really thrilled with this CD. It just doesn't have a great blues feel to it and is very flat.
Really gets everyone feeling the rhythm. Fun for bopping in the car to. The amazon.com list of tracks gives the names of the composers instead of the performers, who are listed on the cover. The tunes are kid-friendly, but they're the real thing.
The songs are catchy and the music is nice and easy listening. My toddler likes the music on this CD. When I first heard it, I wasn't sure it would go over well---my husband is not crazy about the music---but my 2 year old likes it.
My husband and I love it just as much as the kids and we play it even when they're not around. This is great blues music.
Especially pancake man :-) Done in a blues style VERY much like blues music for adults, but with lyrics little ones can understand and enjoy. This is a GREAT cd. and the rest of the crew on this cd would beg to differ.as does my family. To the gentleman who didn't think it was authentic enough blues.I bet B.B. My 2 year old has never liked being in the car so I've been listening to elmo, bear & pooh for 2 years. That's fine, it's fun, but this is a wonderful change of pace - she loves it & so do I.
